Kelly and Ryan had a beautiful, sunny South Florida day for their wedding. Did I mention that it was super hot? Thank goodness for air conditioning! Alexis and I had a blast getting to cover both the bride and groom getting ready for their big day. Planned into the busy day were “First Look” photos, a beautiful ceremony at Nativity Catholic Church in Hollywood, a military Saber Ceremony by Ryan’s fellow Marines (thank you boys for serving our country!), and a super fun reception held at Galuppi’s in Pompano Beach. Kim’s Fabulous Birthday Party–Purple Passion!
Kim really decided to go all out for her birthday party this year! She treated several of her closest friends to a fabulous evening of glamour shots which included a mini makeup session provided by Carmen of Shadows Makeup Artistry. As usual, Carmen did a great job making the girls look glamorous for their photo op! The theme of the evening was Purple…from the clothing, to the plates, to the cupcakes! I really had a blast getting to know each of these fabulous women, as well as photographing them. Believe me, there was lots of laughter and joking involved the whole evening. Everyone was raving about how much fun it was to get “glammed” up & have a mini photo session. It was truly a fabulous party! Can you see the purple theme in the photos?

Johana & Geoff–Wedding Photos!
Johana & Geoff had a beautiful outdoor ceremony in South Beach. Johana was a beautiful bride, and Geoff, by far, was the coolest groom ever…check out his awesome shoes! Despite a late start, the heavy wind blowing down some of the decorations, and a little stress, they both handled it magnificently. They looked so adorable exchanging their vows. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house (or maybe I should say outside by the water!). They were such a true joy to work with…such a happy, sweet couple. I can say that anyone who has the pleasure of meeting them will understand immediately that these are two very special people.

Are these awesome, groovy groom shoes or what? The groom & his dad, the Best Man, had them custom made.
Aren’t these colors gorgeous? The centerpieces were amazing. Too bad it was too windy to use them.
By night….I almost fell in the pool trying to get this shot of the skyline…it was super dark by this time. What a romantic reception!

Jackie & Fred’s Engagement Session in West Palm Beach
I have to say, Alexis & I had an absolute blast hanging out with Jackie and Fred! Fun, fun, fun is the best way to describe such a delightful couple….and so in love! It was truly a joy to be around such a loving and happy couple. We started the afternoon at Mount’s Botanical Garden in West Palm Beach. It was super hot that day…thank goodness there was lots of shade to be found there. There was a wedding taking place at the garden while we were there. I just love brides! Next we headed over to Palm Beach. We took some fun photos at the famous “blue door,” and the bougainvillea plant was radiantly blooming…what a pretty combo. We found a few other cool spots to hit….we even stopped for some Starbuck’s Frappachino’s & smoothies to cool off! And of course, you can’t go to Palm Beach without hitting the beach. Jackie & Fred were up for anything…even some water shots…what a great way to cool off after a hot day! We had so much fun at Jackie & Fred’s engagement session. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding! Enjoy their sneak peak photos from their e-session.

Rachel & Jason’s Wedding in Valdosta, Georgia
Rachel and Jason had a beautiful ceremony at the Crescent House in Valdosta, Georgia. I just love the Crescent House…it’s such a beautiful, romantic location….quite different from South Florida! For Rachel and Jason’s wedding, it was the first super hot day in Valdosta…the temperature was reading almost 95 that day. While Alexis and I were sweating bullets in the heat, somehow Rachel and Jason managed to survive the heat looking calm, cool, and collected. We got some terrific shots(as well as a few fun ones!) both inside and out. Check out Rachel and Jason’s sneak peek photos!

Flamm Family Portrait Session
Riley recently turned one! To mark the celebration, the Flamm family had a relaxed family portrait session. Claudia and Jeff are an incredible couple. I really enjoyed spending the afternoon with them and getting to know Riley. Who can resist those big brown eyes and adorable curls? We enjoyed the beautiful weather in downtown Delray at the park. Fortunately, there was plenty of shade to help us beat the heat! After the park, we headed over to the beach. Riley had his first beach experience! Within minutes, he was a pro at navigating his great sand escape! Check out the last photo of their session! Go Riley! All in all, it was a splendid afternoon!

Ella & Joseph enjoy Playtime!
I just love hanging out with Ella and Joseph! I’ve known them since before they were born….I took their mom’s maternity photos. I’ve had the absolute privilege and pleasure of photographing them starting from their first few weeks to their christening, and now they’re walking! It’s amazing to think so much time has passed…but it surely has. And right along with the passing of time, Ella and Joseph are growing up and developing their own cute little personalities! They are so adorable. I’m lucky enough to get my baby fix every now and then since they’re my neighbors. Just recently we went to a local park where my daughter and I got to play with Ella and Joseph. I hope you enjoy our photos!

Dorothy’s 85th Birthday!
I truly enjoyed getting to meet Dorothy and her family recently. You see, Dorothy turned 85, and had almost all her family fly in for her birthday party! Dorothy called me to come take some family portraits since it was such a large family gathering. There were 4 generations present to celebrate! The weather was beautiful and everyone seemed to be having a great time catching up on the latest family happenings. I stayed just long enough to get some family portraits and a few candids of the great-grandchildren. Here are a few of the photos I took of her beautiful family. Happy Birthday Dorothy!

Troup Family Photo Session in New Orleans
I was thrilled when Jodee asked me to fly to New Orleans to photograph her family. City Park was the perfect setting for the start of our session. Ava loved playing with her bubbles and checking out the flowers. As the afternoon wore on, we headed downtown to grab a bite and check out the local scenery. THe next morning before I left town, Jodee had her very own portrait session…she looked totally glam! Can’t wait to go back to visit again.
